Los Chicos del Coro: Festival del Milleni Barcelona

El 10 de Enero de 2009 LOS CHICOS DEL CORO actuaron en el Palau de la Música de Barcelona con un objetivo muy especial: colaborar con Sonrisas de Bombay. Esta ONG, creada por Jaume Sanllorente, dedica sus esfuerzos a proteger a los niños de la ciudad de Bombay (India) de las mafias de prostitución infantil, así como facilitarles educación y atención sanitaria para mejorar su calidad de vida y que puedan tener un futuro mejor.

Este concierto formó parte del Festival del Milleni de Barcelona y su éxito, una vez más, fue rotundo.

La respuesta de Nicolas Porte, director de la coral, cuando le propusimos este nuevo concierto benéfico, con el que pretendíamos ayudar a niños menos afortunados que los que componen el coro fue un rotundo SI. Y es que si algo supera la calidad musical de esta coral es su calidad humana.

On January 10th, 2009 LES CHORISTES performed at the Palau de la Música in Barcelone with a very special aim: collaborating with MUMBAY SMILES. The NGO founded by Jaume Sanllorente helps and protects children from gangs of child prostitution in the city of  Mumbay (India) and provide education and healthcare to improve their quality of life and give them the opportunity of having a better future.

This concert was part of the Milleni Festival in Barcelone and its success, once again,  was enormous.

The response of Nicolas Porte, director of the choir, when we proposed him to participate  to this new charity concert with the aim to help children less fortunate than the children in the choir, was a resounding YES.

And this is the proof that the only thing that can be greater than the musical abilities of this coral is the human quality.
